Late singer-rapper Sidhu Moose Wala’s parents, who welcomed their newborn baby boy on March 17, 2024, have revealed their son’s face. Moose Wala’s father Balkaur Singh, 60, and mother Charan Kaur, 58, shared a photo with their eight-month-old son.
The family photo was posted with a Sidhu Moose Wala song. The caption in Punjabi read, “There is a unique depth in those eyes, one that understands every truth of our lives. Beyond the innocence of the face and beyond words, there is a precious radiance, always making us feel that the face we had once entrusted to the Divine with tearful eyes has now returned to us in a small form, blessed by the grace of the Divine and the prayers of all brothers and sisters. We will forever remain indebted to Waheguru for His immense blessings upon us (sic).”
Here is the post:
Sidhu Moose Wala, born Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was shot dead by assailants on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. He was 28 at that time. Almost two years after his death, the singer’s parents surprised everyone with a pregnancy announcement.
After the baby’s birth, the late singer’s father shared the news on Facebook and wrote, “With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh’s younger brother in our bag. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love.”
He added, “We are grateful to Sidhu’s fans who are so worried about our family. There is a lot of speculation going on about my family. I request you not to believe all these rumours. Whatever news there is, the family will share it with all of you.”
In an interview with The Indian Express after their son’s birth, Balkaur Singh recalled complications in his wife’s second pregnancy. Reflecting on an incident that became his worst nightmare, he shared, “She started bleeding profusely late at night. My heart was in my mouth as I rushed her to a private hospital in Bathinda. Had something happened to her that day, I would have lost everything.”
Sidhu Moose Wala rose to fame for composing and producing his own tracks. Though his death was untimely and shocking, numerous songs have been released posthumously, amassing millions of views.
